In conjunction with the Gympie District Beef Liaison Group, Kandanga
Valley Stud held a roving pasture and information field day in
March.
The Mercers' showed off some top quality pastures and discussed
renovation techniques and fertilizer applications as well as the
benefits of legume based pastures. It was also a good opportunity
for the stud to show off their quality Charbray cattle.
Over 70 people attended the day to not only hear about pastures
but also to hear guest speakers talk about Selenium, finance and
they also saw a demonstration fencing site built by Waratah and
the Kandanga Valley team."
